Sarah El Nabulsi has been a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in private practice for the past 15 years. She specializes in working with adults and couples. She treats a range of mental health concerns and disorders, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders (bipolar and related disorders, depressive disorders), obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, trauma- and stressor-related disorders, advanced stress management skill building, training for high performance, as well as numerous other issues, such as family conflict, cultural shock, career difficulties, stress management, etc.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative as she is also trained and has a master’s degree in Integrative modalities for the prevention of mental health illnesses as well as treatment through natural methods using Advanced Evidence-based Meditation, Ayurveda, and more. In essence, her approach is bio-psychosocial as it takes into consideration the whole of life, mind, body, and spirit while being rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
She pioneered and published the first research on Happiness in the U.A.E. back in 2015 when the field of Positive Psychology was not yet developed in the Middle East. Her research is mentioned in 230 papers, 7 of which are highly cited studies.
